As can be seen in the treatment rooms, I am a big fan of the arts: from 19th-century Romance artwork to modern photography. And even though I prefer to work in silence, I have a huge record collection at home with classical music, French chansons, jazz and De Dijk. In my spare time, I like to work on old cars and take painting courses. And I may not be an athlete, but I do work out to stay fit by running, cycling, walking with my dog, and skiing with my family.

I enjoy my job. I meet many lovely patients and I can get very excited about the technical skills that are required to perform well as a dentist. The new possibilities I learned about in recent years in courses and permanent education have become more and more interesting. No matter what happens, I always focus on finding the best solution.
How do you really get to know your patients?
If you treat the same people for a long time, you build a connection and get to know about their lives. I like it when people say something about the art in the practice, which happens a lot.

We are located at a very special place that is easily accessible. We also have a great team. Patients are treated by the same dental practitioner every time they visit us. We always discuss treatment options with our patients, so that we can choose the best treatment together. I believe people value the fact that we offer treatments according to the latest techniques. In 2000, for example, I was one of the first dentists in the Netherlands who performed CEREC treatments. With CEREC, crowns, facings and bridges can be fabricated in only 2 hours. Now, I have 21 years of experience with this treatment, which I perform with the brand new primescan that gives absolutely beautiful results.
