I am empathetic, reliable and solution-oriented, which comes in handy in my position as manager of this dental practice. People around me also describe me as interested, driven and a perfectionist; qualities that are very useful in my work as dental hygienist. Outside of working at TAND150, which I’ve been doing for 16 years, I am interested in interior design, art, fitness and cooking.

How do you really get to know your patients?

I like to develop trust by coming back to what somebody has told me during their last visit. That is how I show my genuine interest in the person behind the teeth. People seem to appreciate it, which I could tell when my children were born. The number of cards, presents and messages I received was heart-warming. I also noticed that by opening up about myself, I inspire patients to share information with me that they sometimes don’t even share with their loved ones. Healing and keeping this part of your body healthy encompasses much more than just brushing the right way, in my opinion. If you know this and dare to face it together, you can take huge steps in the direction of a shared goal!
